Caribbean Wedding Essentials

Best time to marry in the Caribbean?

Official hurricane season for the Caribbean is June to November with the most hurricane and tropical storm activity recorded between August and October. But even at the height of the season you'd be very unlucky to experience stormy conditions.

The islands of the Southern Caribbean are far less affected by severe weather, so head to places like Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados or Grenada if you want to play it safe!

Entry Requirements:

Most Caribbean regions don't require visas for entry from British citizens. But requirements vary, so be sure to check the latest advice on the relevant tourist board websites or with your travel agent or wedding planner. See the contacts section for details.

Ceremony Options:

This again differs throughout the Caribbean. In some regions a priest will not have any legal jurisdiction so a civil ceremony will be your only option (eg Aruba), in other places the rules are a lot more flexible and all denominations are catered.

See each region's tourism website for clarification (available on our contacts page).
